Gabriel Paknia is a Project Lead in the UConn Consulting Group, leading an engagement with a NYC-based equity research firm. Previously, he served as UCG’s inaugural Director of Conferences & Events, spearheading UConn’s first-ever on-campus event with an MBB consulting firm.Gabriel is an incoming Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Oppenheimer & Co. He has professional experience across venture capital, private equity, and event-driven merger arbitrage. A member of UConn’s Honors Program, he is pursuing a dual degree with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.
